Belem Wildcamp

Belem is about 5 miles from the centre of Lisbon on both the bus and Tram routes. This wildcamp is directly on the quayside next to the monument to Henry the Navigator from the top of which I took one of the pics. the other is the monument, so its pretty had to miss being about 100' high. Access is easy from the main road, with water available from the otherside of the monument and campers were dumping down a drain in the access road. Their are some big bins on the access road for waste. GPS:38.693306 -9.207262free wi-fi at mcdonalds next to the bus/tram stop about 1000yds away. Chinese and traditional portugese restaurant directly behind in the lake. Modern art and maritime Museum 400yds
